In Corpet News N° 3, we present further developments on the implementation of supplementation with Coriolus versicolor (Corpet) as an immunonutrient in small animals with Visceral Leishmaniasis.
This theme seems to be very important, as according to the latest statistics, this disease has increased about 46% in Portugal from 2000 to 2007.
We have included an update on the cases of visceral cases on Corpet News n° 2 and a case study on the Effectiveness of Immunonutrition with Coriolus versicolor Supplementation in Canine Leishmaniasis, intittled "The efficacy of the use of immunotherapy in canine Leishmaniasis" by Dr. Andrea Lara Oliveira and his Assistant Dr. Ricardo Almeida Santos, at Clínica Veterinária da Lousâ.
